Scottish Careers Week
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges that the first Scottish Careers Week will take place from 15 to 19 November 2021; welcomes that the campaign will be co-ordinated by Skills Development Scotland, in partnership with Developing the Young Workforce and The Young Person’s Guarantee; understands that it aims to help people explore, understand and manage their career choices, and the services and resources available to support them; further understands that the theme is Shape the Future, with various opportunities for young people, parents and carers to learn about the future of jobs, growth industries and what skills will be needed in the workplace of the future, and encourages members to highlight the week, and the range of careers information, advice and guidance available to people of all ages.
