Argyll and Bute Support from Heritage Fund

That the Parliament recognises what it sees as the substantial investment in Scottish land and nature projects by the National Lottery Heritage Fund since its creation in 1994; understands that the National Lottery Heritage Fund has supported 501 such projects in Scotland; further understands that, thanks to lottery players, it has invested over £205 million to protect natural heritage in Scotland to date; welcomes the investment of over £10 million across 26 projects in Argyll and Bute; notes the importance placed on protecting Scottish heritage by the Fund, in addition to the other areas of heritage they support; encourages heritage projects to contact the National Lottery Heritage Fund, and welcomes the work of the team in Scotland to support heritage projects in Argyll and Bute, as well as projects the length and breadth of the country.
