Coalfields Regeneration Trust Invests in Ayrshire Projects
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the work of the Coalfields Regeneration Trust, which delivered awards of £5,744 in October 2021 to groups in Ayrshire; notes that it supported Catrine Games Hall Trust to acquire soft play equipment with an award of £2,744, and Glenafton Athletic AFC to acquire a lawnmower with an award of £3,000; understands that poor health is one of the most widespread challenges faced by people living in coalfield communities; acknowledges that the Trust works towards improving health outcomes in such communities by investing in projects which promote a healthy lifestyle, and wishes the Coalfields Regeneration Trust well as it continues to work and invest in projects that improve the lives of people living in coalfield communities.
