Dunbartonshire Chamber and Milngavie BID Shortlisted for Scotland Loves Local Award
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges that the Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce and the Milngavie Business Improvement District (BID) have been recognised for their work in promoting and delivering the Scotland Loves Local campaign, to encourage consumers to shop at local businesses; believes that this will not only help small independent businesses thrive and provide local jobs, but will also encourage people to travel less, and therefore cut their carbon footprint, and wishes them the very best of luck at the inaugural Scotland Loves Local Awards.
