Learn with Lorna
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges the efforts of Lorna Steele-McGinn, who works with the Highland Archive Centre and who makes Learn with Lorna, a series of educational films about the region and its rich heritage; recognises that these online educational resources have gained worldwide attention, including reaching audiences in the USA, Germany and South Africa, with over 200,000 people watching the series; notes the wide range of topics covered, including the First World War, crime and punishment, shinty and the Highland clearances, and commends Lorna and the rest of the Highland Archive team for continuing to raise awareness about the history of the Highlands.
