Strathcarron Hospice, 40th Cask for 40th Anniversary

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the generosity of Falkirk Distillery founder, George Stewart, who has donated the 40th cask of Cadger's Whisky to be raffled off to raise funds for Strathcarron Hospice, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary; understands that the hospice has to raise over £14,000 every day to ensure that its services, which are vital to patients and families, are kept running; notes that the raffle will be limited to 1,000 tickets and will be drawn on 22 December 2021; considers the work of everyone at the hospice is essential in helping its patients who are receiving end of life care, and their families, live these moments well with support to make every moment count; thanks George and distillery for their kind donation, and wishes them and everyone involved at Strathcarron Hospice the very best.
