National Autistic Society Scotland’s Job Fayre in Catrine
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the work of National Autistic Society Scotland as it launches a job fayre to offer opportunities for people in the Catrine area who want to work in the care sector; notes that the charity runs two supported-living services in Catrine and is seeking people from the community to provide care for adults with autism; believes that this will be varied and flexible work that will provide an opportunity to interact with a variety of people every day; understands that the charity helps adults with autism develop essential skills in self-care, cooking, cleaning and budgeting, and wishes it well with the Catrine fayre and its work.
