New Macmillan Cancer Support Package for Edinburgh and Lothians

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the launch of Macmillan Cancer Support's new £2.8 million Edinburgh and Lothian Service; acknowledges that the Improving the Cancer Journey Service will offer wide ranging support, from benefits advice to emotional support with a dedicated support worker; recognises and commends the hard and vital work done by those who provide cancer care; commends everyone that has contributed to this service and other cancer services across Scotland, and urges those affected by this condition to seek support and advice.
