Renfrew Rotary Club Raises £1,750 for Poppyscotland
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates members of Renfrew Rotary Club for raising £1,750 for the charity, Poppyscotland, which supports current and former members of the Armed Forces and their families, and understands that its fundraising activities included selling hand-painted poppy rocks and 350 knitted remembrance poppies created by talented club members, in addition to volunteering to run Poppyscotland stalls to sell poppies and commemorative poppy-themed items, and to collect donations from shoppers in the Braehead shopping centre, Aldi and Tesco stores in Renfrew and Sainsbury's at Braehead.
