Firefighter Sandy MacLean Retires After 30 years’ service
The motion
That the Parliament wishes Sandy MacLean, aged 60, all the best for his retirement, as he plans to step down from his role next month having spent half of his life as a firefighter; understands that Sandy is the Commander responsible for the Greenock and Port Glasgow stations and that he is popular among the Inverclyde community; commends Sandy for his 30 years of service; is sure that he will be missed by his colleagues, and hopes that he enjoys a long and happy retirement.
