Falkirk District Scottish Youth Parliament Elections

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the election of Daniel Cameron MSYP and Samantha Thomson MSYP to their roles as Members of the Scottish Youth Parliament for the Falkirk East constituency, with Tamsin Gold MSYP and Alyssa Evans MSYP who will sit as Members for the Falkirk West constituency; considers that election to the Scottish Youth Parliament is vital for the representation of young people on national issues and introduces young people to the democratic process; understands the importance of ensuring that young people are engaged on the issues that impact them on a daily basis, giving them the confidence to speak up and affect positive change, and welcomes all new MSYPs to their roles and wishes them the very best for their parliamentary terms.
