Hannah Miley Retires from Competitive Swimming

The motion

That the Parliament notes the retirement from competitive swimming of Hannah Miley, from Inverurie; recognises that over the course of her remarkable 17-year international swimming career, Hannah competed in three Olympic Games, is a double Commonwealth Champion, a World and European Champion and a European record-holder; congratulates too, her father and Coach Patrick; commends Hannah on her dedication, drive and determination throughout her stellar career; applauds the work Hannah has done locally in the Garioch area and more widely to promote her sport, and wishes her well for the future.
