The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Rosemary Crawford on being presented with a long service award in recognition of her 30 years of work as a care assistant at the Erskine veterans charity’s Erskine Park Home in Bishopton; understands that Rosemary was one of 61 members of staff from the charity’s network of four homes, providing nursing, residential, and dementia care in Renfrewshire, Glasgow and Edinburgh, who were recognised with long service awards ranging from 10 years to 30 years; notes that those staff have given an accumulative 865 years of committed service, and appreciates that the awards are a mark of the charity’s appreciation for the tireless efforts of staff in continuing to honour its mission by providing crucial post-military support to 1,000 veterans and their spouses.
