Dads Rock in Glasgow
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the expanded work of Dads Rock in Glasgow; understands that this charity aims to improve outcomes for children to ensure that they have the best start in life by providing support to both dads and families, in turn enriching the relationship between child and father; commends the 1:1 support provided for vulnerable dads aged 25 and under that aims to give young men the skills and confidence to enjoy the experience of being a dad; notes the monthly workshop provision for all dads that aims to reinforce the importance of their role, assisting fathers to learn new skills to provide better care for their children; specifically welcomes Dads Rock offering new classes in Glasgow that include antenatal lessons and first aid, and wishes the charity every continued success in Glasgow and their other operating locations.
