Curry Lounge Named New Takeaway of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Curry Lounge in Port Glasgow on being named New Takeaway of the Year at the 13th Scottish Curry Awards; notes that the restaurant, owned by Sal Mohammed, was also nominated for the New Restaurant of the Year award, but narrowly lost out; understands that this achievement is the second award that the Curry Lounge has picked up since opening in 2019, having recently received a Good Food award; acknowledges that the Curry Awards, held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Glasgow, recognised the Port Glasgow restaurant for its "hard work, determination, impeccable service and efforts", and wishes Sal and his staff all the best for the future.
