EPIC East Ayrshire Pipe Band Academy Sit First Ever SCQF Exam
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the work of EPIC East Ayrshire Pipe Band Academy as its students sit their first ever Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) exams; notes that the National Piping Centre in Glasgow visited Lugar Parish Church Hall in Logan to visit the students; further notes that the exams will be added to the students’ education record, meaning the exams can help towards gaining a place in further education; understands that the examiners were very impressed with the level shown by all students, with the students being extremely prepared for the exam, and wishes the students at the Pipe Band Academy well as they develop their musical talents.
