Hand-crafted Santa Sleigh Brings Festive Joy

The motion

That the Parliament wishes to thank the Chenery family of Bishopbriggs for the design, crafting and installation of a Santa sleigh in their garden; delights that members of the public can visit and take a photo of themselves, family members or friends in the beautifully-made wooden sleigh; pays tribute to Nathan Chenery, who designed, made and decorated this colourful Christmas seating; wishes to acknowledge the time, energy and care taken by Nathan and his parents, Leanne and Neil, while working on this creative project with impact; further delights that visitors have the opportunity to drop off donations for East Dunbartonshire Foodbank in the special bins in the family's garden; welcomes the interest by the STV news team that highlighted this outstanding achievement on 6 November 2021, and sends every best wish to Nathan, Leanne and Neil for the continued success of this wonderful concept.
