Bearsden Residents Receive British Empire Medal
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Bearsden residents, Margarita Sweeney and Parminder Purewal, on receiving the prestigious British Empire Medal (BEM); understands that they received the medal for their contributions to making ice skating more inclusive to disabled people, and for services to the hospitality sector respectively; praises the hard work of Margarita and Parminder, and wishes them both continued success in the future.
