National Lottery Funding for Fool On
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Fool On on receiving funding of £92,615 from the Medium Grants Scotland: Improving Lives programme; acknowledges that the group will use the funding to support people affected by mental health issues, and will promote recovery through participation in the performing arts; understands that the project will deliver five weekly workshops in music, stand-up comedy and creative writing across North Lanarkshire; considers that Fool On plays an important role in promoting positive mental wellbeing within the community, by sharing experiences in the hope that it helps others on their journey, and wishes the group all the best for the future.
