Retirement of Ally and Fiona Rait from Byron Bakery

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Ally and Fiona Rait who, until recently, were the owners of the Byron Bakery in the Northfield area of Aberdeen; understands that the couple owned Byron Bakery for more than 13 years; notes that, with the introduction of the bag tax, Ally and Fiona donated all of the money received from this tax to local projects within the Northfield area on a monthly basis, with around £10,000 raised for local projects in this way, and wishes both Ally and Fiona all the best in their well-earned retirement.
