Uddingston Grammar Pupil Takes Part in UN Declaration

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Uddingston Grammar S6 pupil, Kerry Burke, for taking part in a global online meeting to launch a new United Nations manifesto for children and adolescents with disabilities; understands that Kerry is a member of the RNIB Scotland Youth Forum and is a strong advocate for social justice; further understands that the UN manifesto calls for recognition of the right for disabled pupils to access the same educational opportunities as their peers without disabilities, and congratulates Kerry on her recent success in being elected as a Member of the Scottish Youth Parliament.
