All Warriors Gym, Ayr

The motion

That the Parliament praises All Warriors, an all-women gym in Ayr, which aims to raise awareness about the signs of domestic abuse; understands that All Warriors offers a safe, women-only space, and that it recently hosted an event centred on recognising domestic abuse at home; highlights the role that the gym plays in signposting women to the right services; understands that the work has been motivated by reports of the prevalence of domestic abuse locally and across the country, and welcomes the gym's appeal for Christmas toys and gifts, which it understands will be given to families who are fleeing a domestic abuse situation.
