Bearsden Diwali 2021
The motion
That the Parliament thanks the Scottish Indian Cultural and Festival Committee for organising the Bearsden Diwali 2021 event; understands that Diwali is the most popular Indian festival and that it celebrates victory of good over evil and light over darkness; recognises the cultural importance of Diwali to communities across Scotland and the UK, and appreciates everyone’s involvement and help in making the Bearsden Diwali a success.
