Inverness Officer Nominated for Scottish Police Federation Community Commitment Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates community beat officer, Brad O’Neill, on his nomination for the Scottish Police Federation Community Commitment Award; recognises what it sees as Brad’s continued dedication and his efforts to help and support others; understands that this included securing internet access for a school pupil during lockdown, taking an isolated man out to lunch, and fixing a single mum’s bicycle, and that these selfless acts have had a positive impact on other people, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic; acknowledges what it sees as Brad’s devotion to his community, by building relationships and exercising multiple acts of kindness; thanks Brad for the amazing work he is doing in his community, and wishes him all the best in the future.
