Recognising the Efforts of the Knowes Hotel in the Aftermath of Storm Arwen

The motion

That the Parliament commends what it sees as the extraordinary efforts of the Knowes Hotel in Macduff, for offering support to neighbours in need, who were often without electricity or running water in the aftermath of Storm Arwen; applauds all who helped in whatever way they were able, offering food, hot drinks, and, in some cases, opening their properties to people in need; believes that this exemplifies true grit and selfless community spirit; recognises, in particular, the efforts of the staff at the Knowes Hotel, and wishes everyone involved success in their future endeavours.
