Congratulations President Boric

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes and congratulates the newly-elected socialist President of Chile, Gabriel Boric, on his victory in the 2021 Presidential Election; expresses its enduring solidarity and desire to work with the people of Chile and promote international cooperation between the two countries; hopes that the Boric Presidency will deliver on what it understands were its campaign promises of an inclusive government that will stand against poverty and inequality, particularly as Chile continues with the constitutional reforms, which began following the political demonstrations that started in October 2019, and wishes President Boric and the people of Chile prosperity and peace in the years to come.
