Recognising the Efforts of The Galley Whitehills in the Aftermath of Storm Arwen

That the Parliament commends what it sees as the extraordinary efforts of the community in Whitehills in offering support to neighbours in need, who were often without electricity or running water, in the aftermath of Storm Arwen; applauds those who helped in whatever way they were able, offering food and hot drinks and, in some cases, opening their properties to people in need; believes that this exemplifies true grit and selfless community spirit; recognises, in particular, the efforts of the Galley Whitehills Café and Seafood Restaurant which, it understands, helped ensure that residents of Banffshire received a hot meal and a friendly welcome during this challenging time, and wishes everyone at The Galley Whitehills success in their future endeavours.
