The Knowe Garden Centre
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates The Knowe Garden Centre, based in Auchinleck, on creating more than 40 job opportunities since it launched a service offering gardening and soft landscaping work, creating an oasis of greenery in the Ayrshire community; understands that The Knowe Garden Centre has evolved into a commercial gardening operation after being developed from a derelict site in 2013; further understands that the garden centre is part of the Auchinleck Community Development Initiative (ACDI), which is a lottery and grant-funded social enterprise that has transformed the land in the local town, and commends the work of all the members and wishes them well for the future.
