Hilda Campbell, CEO of Cope Scotland, Appointed an MBE
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Hilda Campbell, chief executive of the Glasgow Anniesland constituency-based charity, Cope Scotland, on being appointed an MBE in the 2022 New Year's Honours, for services to mental health and wellbeing in the community in Scotland during the COVID-19 pandemic; notes that Cope Scotland was founded in 1991 and exists to help individuals and families manage the many challenges of life, which, if unaddressed, can lead to mental illness, and understand that Hilda is an Honorary Fellow of Queens Nursing Institute Scotland and has over 38 years' experience of working with people experiencing mental and emotional distress.
