Rohini Sharma Joshi Appointed an OBE
The motion
That the Parliament commends Rohini Sharma Joshi on being appointed an OBE in the Queen’s New Year Honours 2022; acknowledges that Rohini, who lives in Midlothian, received her award for services to equality, diversity and inclusion; notes that Rohini was previously awarded the Outstanding Contribution to Scottish Society award at the first Scottish Asian Woman Association Awards; congratulates her on her award, and recognises not only her achievements for the benefit of equality, diversity and inclusion but also what it sees as the positive impact that she has had on people across Scotland.
