South Ayrshire Foodbank, Prestwick

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the successful drive to collect essential food items and toiletries for the South Ayrshire food bank; notes that, on 12 December 2022, community volunteers in Prestwick, including one Santa Claus, went out to collect donations and to hand out presents in a van decorated for the festivities; praises the objective of volunteers to get the community together to spread cheer and respond to the call for essential donations; recognises the efforts of the Prestwick community in donating so many items, and wishes to highlight the fantastic work of food bank staff and volunteers across Scotland.
