Ayr Woman Named The Prince’s Trust Foundation Ambassador

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Ayr’s Sarah Margaret Gibson as she is named The Prince’s Foundation Ambassador, and is based at Dumfries House; notes that Sarah is a renowned artist and co-founder of The Glasgow Academy of Fine Art; further notes that, in her new role as an Ambassador, Sarah will promote the charity’s work in maintaining its art collection at its East Ayrshire headquarters; understands that The Prince’s Foundation is working hard in delivering training programmes in traditional crafts and architecture, and offering a classical approach to teaching art; further understands that Sarah will work closely with the Collections Manager to promote the paintings and artwork that can be enjoyed by local residents in the community and tourists who visit Dumfries House, and wishes Sarah well as she settles into her new role.
