The motion

That the Parliament notes Lillie Art Gallery was built in 1962 by Milngavie local, Robert Lillie; acknowledges the 60 years of the purpose built gallery, which has hosted Scottish artworks from the 1850s to the present day; celebrates Lillie Gallery’s latest exhibition, which features six decades of artwork, including art by Robert Lillie himself, and encourages any art lover and enthusiast of Scottish art history to visit this fine and special wee gallery.
