Coltness Community Council Member John Smillie’s Woodland Clean-up

The motion

That the Parliament commends John Smillie, a member of the Coltness Community Council, for his sterling work in clearing part of his much-loved town; understands that John Smillie has spent a number of months clearing up land near Ryde Lane in Coltness; further understands that John cleaned up dozens of bags of rubbish and, on the last clean-up earlier this month, an incredible 66 bags were collected, making a total of over 200 bags of rubbish, as well as larger items being removed from the area; thanks John for what it sees as his stellar effort in pursuing a major clean-up activity in his community, and wishes him all the best for the future.
