North East Scotland Food and Drink Awards 2022

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes back the North East Scotland Food and Drink Awards, which is set to return on 9 June 2022, after a two-year absence due to COVID-19; notes that this year it is introducing two new awards for innovative businesses that have developed digital routes to market, and to highlight significant gains in productivity and sustainability achieved through process change, digital transformation, advanced manufacturing and low-carbon production; recognises what it sees as the importance of this event in celebrating what it considers as a vital manufacturing sector in the north east, and hopes that the event will be a great success.
