Gerry Taggart's Fundraising for St Andrew's Hospice

The motion

That the Parliament recognises what it sees as the outstanding fundraising efforts by nine-year-old Gerry Taggart from Wishaw, to raise over £3,000 for St Andrew’s Hospice in Airdrie, after completing his second Marcothon; understands that Gerry ran three miles every day throughout December and into January, and was joined by other boxers from Cambusnethan Miners Boxing Club; recognises Gerry’s superb efforts to support St Andrew’s Hospice, and considers the work of St Andrew’s Hospice as vital in providing palliative care and in helping to support families and people through some of the hardest times they may face; praises Gerry’s efforts to support a great cause, and acknowledges the great work of St Andrew’s Hospice.
