Save Afghan Lives Campaign

As an amendment to motion S6M-02950 in the name of Katy Cark (Save Afghan Lives Campaign), insert at end “; believes that those Arab regimes and Pakistan, who reportedly funded, armed and provided sanctuary to the Taliban over decades, should also provide urgent humanitarian assistance and help to fund Afghanistan’s reconstruction, and further believes that Russia, which invaded Afghanistan on Christmas Eve 1979 and occupied the country for almost 10 years, leading to the reported deaths of between 562,000 and 2,000,000 people and widespread destruction of the country, should also share responsibility for Afghanistan’s plight and now aid that country’s people with humanitarian aid and assist in its reconstruction.”
