Asda Stenhousemuir and Grangemouth Green Token Giving
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes funding for local groups from Asda Stenhousemuir and Grangemouth through the Asda Foundation’s Green Token Giving programme; understands that projects supported are nominated by the people and communities served by Asda; recognises that the winners of the customer vote from each store are Steins Thistle Club 2013's and Linlithgow Rose CfC 2008 Maroon, receiving £500 each, with the runners-up, Plus Forth Valley Ltd, Cyrenians Falkirk, 2nd Torwood Scout Group and 89th Stenhousemuir Scouts, each receiving £200; understands that all projects will be put to use improving their local communities; recognises what it sees as the positive impact that community groups have, providing activities and opportunities for people of all ages; congratulates each winner and runner-up on receiving their funding, and wishes them every success in supporting communities going forward.
