Dalziel Rugby Club Launches Their First Girls Team
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the announcement that Dalziel Rugby Club, in Motherwell, is launching its first girls team; understands that rugby clubs across Scotland have, alongside Scottish Rugby, been successfully welcoming new players to train and play, with friendly and fun #BeTheBestYou taster sessions for women aged 18 and over who have never tried rugby before; further understands that rugby for women and girls is one of the fastest-growing team sports in the world, and wishes the new team at Dalziel all the very best for the future.
