200 Bags of Rubbish Cleared by Coltness Community Council Member

The motion

That the Parliament commends Coltness Community Council member, John Smillie, for what it sees as his sterling work in clearing up a part of Wishaw in North Lanarkshire; understands that John has spent months clearing up land near Ryde Lane, in Coltness, and over various trips has cleared over 200 bags of rubbish; recognises that this area is home to deer, foxes, badgers and other wildlife, and understands that John would like to see more education in schools to show young people the danger that littering can present to these animals.
