Peterhead FC Gives Back over the Festive Season

The motion

That the Parliament commends the work of Peterhead FC for, it understands, bringing some Christmas cheer to people in the local community who needed it most, with their Festive Friends programme; understands that Festive Friends, which is now in its sixth year, typically holds a Christmas lunch at Balmoor Stadiums Bloo Toon lounge for local people in need of help, experiencing isolation, ill health or poverty; further understands that, due to COVID-19 restrictions, they adapted the programme from Festive Friends to Festive Friends at Home, in which the organisation visited those in need, with a Christmas hamper and a friendly chat; applauds what it sees as this excellent example of a football club playing a positive role in the wider community, and wishes them every success in the future.
