Bow Fiddle Rock, Moray, Receives Scottish Government Funds

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the investment of £363,298 in tourist infrastructure in Moray from the Scottish Government Rural Tourism Infrastructure Fund, which aims to improve tourism sustainability and accessibility in order to showcase the area's beautiful coast to visitors from around the world; understands that projects benefiting from the investment include improvements to facilities at the stunning Bow Fiddle Rock in Portnockie, specifically, a new visitor car park with an electric vehicle charging point and an overnight motorhome facility in the iconic Banffshire and Buchan Coast town of Cullen; highlights the potential for substantial and sustainable growth in tourism in the north east and more widely across Scotland; commends the efforts of all parties involved, and wishes them every success in working to fulfil this potential.
