North Ayrshire Libraries Boost
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that North Ayrshire Libraries received a funding boost through the Scottish Government’s Public Library and School Library Improvement Funds; understands that North Ayrshire Council secured £29,800 of funding for its What’s Your Story - 22 for 22 project, as part of the Public Library Improvement Fund; further understands that this is the second largest sum awarded in this category; believes that public libraries are an essential part of community life and provide excellent education resources for all; congratulates North Ayrshire Council on securing the funding, and wishes it well with its What’s Your Story - 22 for 22 project.
