Cyclo-Cross Trophy Series Returns to Falkirk

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the return of the National Cyclo-Cross Trophy Series to Callendar Park, in Falkirk, for Round 2, on 22 and 23 October 2022; congratulates Falkirk Community Trust and all of the volunteers and organisers who brought the tournament to Scotland, notably Falkirk Junior Bike Club, which was also announced as the 2021 Cycling Weekly Club of the year, and recognises the positive impact of this event on young people around Falkirk who, it believes, are now more interested to pursue cycling and bike-related sports, which are easily accessible via the many flat, family-friendly, and traffic-free towpaths in the area.
