ALBAS Awards 2022 Finalists
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Stephanie Wharrie from Overtown in Wishaw, on being named on the shortlist of finalists for Lantra Scotland’s Awards for Land-based and Aquaculture Skills (the ALBAS) 2022; understands that Stephanie has been chosen by an independent judging panel made up of influential figures from across the land-based and aquaculture sector and chaired by Keith Paterson of Forestry and Land Scotland, for her achievements as a rural trainee and attaining level 3 Equido at Ross Dhu Equestrian Limited, near Larkhall; notes that the award categories are agriculture, aquaculture, equine, environmental conservation, game and wildlife, horticulture, land-based engineering, and trees and timber, and that they will be awarded on 3 March 2022; commends Stephanie on her success, and wishes her well.
