St Andrew's High School in Coatbridge Launches its Pupil Parliament
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates St Andrew’s High School in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, on the launch of its Pupil Parliament; notes that the inaugural meeting of the Pupil Parliament was held on 28 January 2022, chaired by the school captains, Sophie Hamill and Krystian Tomasiewicz; commends pupils for their leadership and active participation; recognises what it sees as the important support and role of school staff, including teachers Mrs Lowry and Mr O’Donnell; understands that the school is working towards UNICEF’s Gold Award for Rights Respecting Schools, and wishes everyone supporting this endeavour, and the important work of the Pupil Parliament, all the best for the future.
