Hazlehead Academy achieves LGBT Charter at Silver Level

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Hazlehead Academy, Aberdeen, on achieving the LGBT Charter at Silver Level; recognises what it sees as the hard work and dedication of pupils and staff in achieving this prestigious award from LGBT Youth Scotland; understands that a virtual classroom was created during lockdown to allow the LGBT Alliance to meet, and welcomes the training and the review of policies, practice and resources that aim, it understands, to ensure that Hazlehead Academy goes beyond meeting legislative needs, and is as inclusive as it can be for pupils, staff, parents and the wider community.
