Bellshill Schoolboy Announced as Youngest Artist at TRNSMT Festival

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates fifteen-year-old Bellshill singer songwriter, Connor Fyfe, on being selected to play TRSNMT Festival in July 2022; understands that Connor is the youngest artist to play in the festival at Glasgow Green; further understands that the teenager is joining the likes of Lewis Capaldi, Paolo Nutini and Nile Rodgers on the star-studded line up, as well as another North Lanarkshire act, Saint Phnx, who, it understands, recently signed to Atlantic Records and secured a Scottish Chart No.1 for their Happy Place EP, and wishes Connor, who played over 60 gigs last year despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, all the very best for the future.
