Gael Music Receives £39,320 Grant from Young Start

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Coatbridge and Chryston-based group, Gael Music, on receiving a £39,320 grant from Young Start, which is delivered by The National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the grant will help fund a youth-led project over an 18-month period where people of all ages share stories and music that have survived through a connection to the local landscape; further understands that the stories and music will be tied together through the use of animation and computer aided design modelling; notes that the project will also serve as a resource to educate future generations; wishes the project the best of luck, and looks forward to seeing the results of the project upon completion.
