Clydebank Pupil Named Football Fan of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates St Stephen’s Primary School pupil, Poppy Lord, who has been named Fan of the Year by the Scottish Football Supporters Association; understands that Poppy wrote a letter to the headteacher requesting that the class be able to watch Scotland’s international football match; understands that Poppy’s plea went viral on social media networks and that ultimately the students had the opportunity to watch Scotland compete in the Euros, and celebrates what it sees as the passion and dedication of Poppy and her classmates, and cheers along with them in support of Scotland at the next game.
